Hello! My name is Erin. I used to collect boxes from Emma’s place in West End and loved the products and services by Foodconnect. Unfortunately, after I moved the house, I stopped subscribing (I have no car). I know and understand why you would not deliver the boxes to homes. I miss the beautiful veggies and fruits!

I thought that maybe I could become one of the city cousins and offer a safe places for people’s boxes. I live in a house in Milton/Rosalie/Auchenflower area where there is no city cousins nearby. I can offer under cover front porch. If storming, the boxes can go under the house. I work from home making ceramic art pieces and wares. So it is not at all inconvenient for me to mind boxes and wait for people. I started growing veggies in my backyard and share the joy with small children who come here for Japanese kindy program one day a week. Perhaps I could set up some chairs, drinking water and good garden books in the front yard for people to feel at home and connect..?
Please let me know what you think.. :)

Hi Erin! Happy New Year and great to hear from you. I’ll forward your email to Erin Young, our city cousin coordinator and she will be in touch with you next week. You are right about there not being a CC in this great spot.
All the best, Emma & the Food Connect Team
